Dallas & Fort Worth Families Receive High-Tech Help from Operation I.C.E. and Geeks
On Call

Dallas, TX - August 4, 2006 - Each day in the United Sates, over 3,000 children are
reported missing. Time is of the essence when searching for these children, but
according to authorities, valuable hours are often wasted because many parents are
unable to supply police with a current photograph and a current set of fingerprints
for their child.

To help families collect vital data on their children, Geeks On Call has partnered
with Operation I.C.E. (which stands for "In Case of Emergency"). Using a high-tech
camera that interacts with special software, Geeks On Call and Operation I.C.E. can
take a digital photo of a child, then use the same software to interface with a
device that captures a digital image of the kids' fingerprints. All of this
information is presented free of charge in a 8.5 x 11-inch printout, which parents
can give to law-enforcement agents anywhere in the world to aid an investigation.
And to protect the families' privacy, no permanent databases are created, which
means that the only record of the children's photos and fingerprints goes home with
the parents.
